"With two small children, it's easy to build up clutter. Karen helps me figure out what functionally works for our family, without losing sight of my children's needs. I'm learning what works best for us and how to maintain the sytems we put in place. I will be using her services on various projects in the future!" Noelle M., Swoyersville, PA

"Twice, now, I had Karen Blum (an organizing whiz) tackle two projects in my home. I found her through a spot on WNEP’s Home and Backyard program more than three years before I was able to hire her. Project #1: What was a very small third bedroom is now a very functional and satisfying office/refuge for me. Short of applying paint on the walls or inserting boards for the floor (she would have if I let her), Karen jumped right in with the down and dirty parts of organizing the space—the dreaded decluttering—what to keep, what to sell, what to recycle, and what to throw away. She was like a whirling dervish. Within no time we were moving on to the next task. And just like the famous organizers on TV, Karen gives homework assignments. “My little room” is now one of the family favorites in the whole house. Project #2: Karen was back on the scene for a master bedroom walk-in closet overhaul. As she did in the first project, Karen interviewed me about what my husband and I needed, what we wanted and what we could afford. She literally measured the amounts of hanging clothes (short vs. long) and calculated the volume of folded items, boxed items, shoes and seasonal clothing. On this project I had family members involved. So, Karen supplied the plan, the shopping list and the vendors; I did the buying; and my team did all the work. I can’t wait to find another project for her to do in my home. She’s the best!"

"When Karen leaves after a few hours, the aggravating mess has become ordered and attractive - and I've had a lot of fun. Five Stars!!!" Sally B., Lackawanna County, PA
