Hi! I'm Karen Kalna Blum. Thank you for taking the time to visit my website and "meet" me. All my life I have helped family and friends plan events, organize homes, design closets, pack for trips, etc. I started Space & Time Professional Organizers in 2005 to use my talents to help more people reduce stress and save time and money. I belong to the National Association of Professional Organizers and the Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Commerce.
There is no one right way to organize. Everyone is different and I enjoy discovering what organizing techniques will work best for my clients based on their personality and life style. I realize that it can be difficult to reach out for help and I respect that. That is why I have a confidentiality policy and never judge my clients. My goal is to help my clients achieve their goals and acquire the necessary skills to maintain an organized environment.
On a personal note, I grew up in Northeastern Pennsylvania, received a B.S. in Marketing from King's College in Wilkes-Barre, and have enjoyed prior careers in radio and real estate. I strongly believe in volunteerism having served as past board chair of the Wyoming Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross, and served on the board of the Little Theater of Wilkes-Barre and the Junior League of Wilkes-Barre. When disaster strikes you'll see me working side by side with other Red Cross disaster volunteers.
Organization helps me keep my life balanced with time for work, family, friends, volunteering, culture and travel.
